Lighting has long since evolved beyond pure functionality. On the modern truck, it has become an extension of the design. It defines the look, the character, and often even the recognizability on the road. We’ve seen this for years in our sun visors and front spoilers with integrated LED lighting.

Demand from the market grew quickly. Drivers don’t just want to be seen: they want their truck to feel complete. They want lighting that finishes the design. And honestly: it does. A well‑placed LED lamp gives a sun visor or front spoiler that extra detail that brings everything together.

But as demand increased, something else became increasingly clear.

When “good enough” is no longer good enough

Until now, we worked with existing LED lamps that we integrated into our products. Practical, available, and technically sufficient. But we noticed something was missing and more and more often, we had to admit that these lamps didn’t fully align with what we consider important.

The light output wasn’t always even. The finish could be cleaner. And in terms of appearance, it simply didn’t feel like a true SolarGuard product.

That doesn’t sit right. Especially when you develop products designed down to the smallest detail to enhance the original truck design.

So we asked ourselves a simple question:

Why aren’t we making this lamp ourselves?

Developed in‑house

So that’s exactly what we did. Not a small adjustment, but a complete in‑house development: from first sketch to final product. With the same attention and quality standards we apply to our sun visors and spoilers.

The result is something we’re genuinely proud of: the very first SolarGuard LED lamp.

A lamp that brings together our vision on engineering, finishing, and design.

Light that does what it’s supposed to do

During development, one thing was central: the light pattern. No hotspots, no uneven transitions — just a smooth, clean, bright beam that stands out without overpowering.

The lamp is available in white and amber and is suitable for all weather conditions. Fully waterproof, robustly built, and ready for daily use on the road — from summer drives to long nights in rain and cold.

But technology alone isn’t enough.

A finish worth showing off

What truly sets this lamp apart is the finish. Clean, precise, and visually in balance with our products. Not a loose component that “hangs on,” but a lamp that becomes part of the whole.

And perhaps the most unique aspect: the LED lamp is fully detachable.

The rear section can be easily unscrewed, allowing the lamp to fit perfectly into our sun visors and spoilers — but also to be seamlessly integrated into a grille or other truck components. That creates freedom. For installation, for styling, and for customization.
